Meet The Star Team...Kay Gauss and
Susan Bailey...
Kay Gauss is a native of Roanoke Virginia and a graduate
of North Cross School. Kay received her BA from Salem
College in Winston-Salem, NC. After college Kay worked
for a sports marketing firm in New York City. In 1988
Kay returned to the Roanoke Valley and has worked in the
interior design business before becoming a Realtor.
Kay is proud to be a member of the National Association
of Realtors (NAR), the Virginia Association of Realtors
(VAR) and the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors (RVAR).
Kay is a graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) is
an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) candidate and is an Accredited
Staging Professional (ASP) These designations set her
apart from other REALTORS as she has been extensively
trained to help both buyers and sellers get the most
from their Real Estate transactions.
A
member of the Roanoke Valley Junior League, Board member
of the Roanoke Valley Garden Club, Chair of the Roanoke
Valley Garden Tour, Board member of the Roanoke City
schools PTA, Volunteer for the Roanoke Area Ministries
(RAM House), and an active member of Saint John's
Episcopal Church, Kay is actively involved in her
community.

Susan Lazarus Bailey is a
native of Roanoke and a graduate of North Cross School.
Susan has a BA of Sweet Briar College on Economics and
Business Management. Susan has been a Department and
Store Manager for Thalhimer's, Cloverleaf Mall.
Assistant Buyer for Women's Sportswear. Thalhimer's Buyer
for Children, girls 4 - 6x and boys 4 - 7,
Hecht's Southern Stores Account Executive and
Events
Coordinator for Jones New York Sportswear, New York Store
Management, Buyer and
Credit
Manager for Lazarus Stores, Roanoke, VA. Retail Specialist
for the Worth Collection.
My
experience in retail sales extends into management, sales,
merchandising and special events. I have received several
awards for top sales, including buyer of the year and best
new agency.
Susan's volunteer experience includes the Junior League of
Richmond and the Roanoke Valley, the Roanoke Academy of
Medicine Alliance, North Cross School Parents Council, the
Virginia Trail Riders Association to mention a few. In my
volunteer career, Susan has chaired several local events
including the Roanoke Valley Horse Show, the Stocked Market
Gala and founded the Book and Author Dinner.
